A verse I wrote

I recieved a email that I won a contest for my poem didn't win big stuff but at least I won thought I just put it here. It's not much but here goes:

Goodbye
I drop a rose toward your new journey.
I sprinkle some fresh earth on your new path.
I thank you for being here for a short while.
I shed my tears for the lose of your presents.
I say a soft goodbye,
as you enter your new home
on the other side.
